Turkish Pide

Turkish Pide Turkish pide is one of the most popular bakery products you can see in bakeries, restuarants and stores around Turkey..There are variety of filling options you can experiment with..Here I am showing you chicken filling. Ingredients for the pide: 6 n half cup of all purpose flour One cup lukewarm water One tbsp instant yeast One cup warm milk One tbsp granulated sugar 3-4 tbsp olive oil One tsp salt Instructions:  Mix everything in a big bowl ,you will get a sticky dough add little more water if you need. Work on the dough for ten minutes untill u get a smooth dough..place in a big bowl  and spray some olive on top..cover and let it rise for an hour.. Mutton Trotters (paya)

Mutton Trotters Mutton trotters or Paya Curry (paya is a urdu word for trotters) is a thick broth prepared with trotters and whole    spices It's traditionally cooked on slow flame overnight or for few hours which makes the curry  thick and flavourful. In India and pakistan  they usually have this for breakfast with tandoori naan aur buns. Its like a treat for us since childhood.My mom used to make such yummy paya curry. Ingredients Paya 4(trotters) Oil 4 tbsp Salt to taste One stick cinnamon  One big  black cardamom 2 green cardamom 3 bay leaves 2 onions sliced 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste One tbsp corrainder pwd 1/2 tsp turmeric powder One tbsp chilli powder One tsp cumin pwd One tsp garam masala pwd 1/2 cup dahi Method:wash the paya properly .In a pressure cooker add oil n whole spices..then add onions and fry till onions changes color to light brown(don't make it too brown).
