Crispy Onion pakora/fritters

Pakora,bhaijia whatever you call it,the taste is the same.In india it's always have been our favourite teatime snack.A simple to make snack,that even guests enjoy..Monsoon  is the most favourite season when it's made all over.Hot sipping tea and bhaijas,make a perfect combination.Made with homemade simple ingredients it's an all time favourite.
Now let's into the recipe

Ingredients:

  • Sliced onion 2 cups
  • Besan/gram flour 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Carrom seeds/ajwain 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds/jeera 1/4 tsp
  • Green chiilies chopped 1 tbsp

Method;

Thinly Slice the onions and wash nicely ,so that all strands are separated properly..put it in the strainer for few minutes.
In a big bowl add gram flour,cumin,carrom seeds,green chillies,salt..Add in the onions,give it a mix and leave it aside for sometime..The water from salt releases and makes the batter ready to use..Deep fry the fritters in oil on medium flame...Serve it hot with chutney or sauce.


TIPS:If the batter feels dry you can add little water.

Mutton Trotters (paya)

Mutton Trotters Mutton trotters or Paya Curry (paya is a urdu word for trotters) is a thick broth prepared with trotters and whole    spices It's traditionally cooked on slow flame overnight or for few hours which makes the curry  thick and flavourful. In India and pakistan  they usually have this for breakfast with tandoori naan aur buns. Its like a treat for us since childhood.My mom used to make such yummy paya curry. Spicy soya chunks

Spicy soya chunks This is a very easy and tasty recipe..Soyabean is a good source of protien,so a good dish for vegetarians to include in there menu..There are many varieties You can make by these soyabean chunks...For this recipe I am using mini chunks. So let's get into the recipe..you will need Ingredients: Soyabean chunks 100gm One big onion (sliced and fried ) One tomato chopped Curd 1/2 cup 3-4 garlic pods 1/2 inch ginger 3 green chillies 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1/2 tsp dhania(corrainder) powder Salt to taste. Method: Boil water add little salt and boil the soya chunks..Strain n let it cool..Then in a frying pan add 2 tsp oil and toss the chunks to give it a crisp.keep aside In a kadai add 2 tbsp oil,add ginger garlic and green chillies paste,saute and in the fried onions and tomatoes mix all well..Then add in all the spices and saute it nicely..Once the Masala is done and oil start...
